Recently, we had an addition to our family; a little calico cat named Crystal.
I was out shopping in December 2000 and came home laden with merchandise. I guess I forgot to shut the front door properly. Later when Brian came home, the door was open. On the second floor landing he was greeted by a little half-starved kitten. She never left. After ten years of not being responsible for anything more demanding than a cactus, she is now part of the family.
